If you are hypnotized into believing something does not happen, you are more likely to go into the trance. It is not an outright lie, but more a case of a subject being more receptive to the suggestions of the hypnotist.

If you want to get people to believe something is happening, hypnosis is arguably the best way to go. Unfortunately, using hypnosis to get someone to do something they don’t want to do can come with some negative side effects. A lot of hypnosis techniques involve making you believe your goals are unattainable, and that you’re doing it for the wrong reason.

I can certainly relate to how this works. As a result, I have come to believe that hypnosis is the “quick fix” for a lot of things that people need to do in life that they can’t do without looking at it from a different point of view. One of the most common examples is how hypnosis can help a person who is depressed to get over something or someone they have problems with.
I have never done hypnosis myself, but I have done a fair amount of hypnotherapy for clients and have had my share of successes and failures. My favorite part of hypnosis is when someone gets to their senses and they realize they were wrong or something they were doing wasn’t right.
Hypnosis, to me, is not magic, it is the ability to change our behavior by changing the way we think and behave. For example, if you have a problem with your heart, you can take a deep breath in and out, slowly count to 10, and then have someone else tell you that you need to do something. If you then do it, you will soon feel better.
